Tours range from Novice to seasoned pros. As Lake Louise is in the protected National Park, snowmobiles and other power sports must be done outside of Banff National Park gates. This however is no great concern as one can either head East of Banff to Canmore into Kananaskis Country or go 40 minutes west of Lake Louise into British Columbia and the Purcell Mountains.
